To be honest I don’t follow the movies much, as I’m not a huge fan, and I lean more Marvel. (I am hugely, hugely, hugely excited by the Jessica Jones Netflix series. Can not wait for that.) But as for Wondie, I would have preferred someone like Jeniffer Lawrence or Cobie Smulders to fill the role, but Gal was solid enough in the fast movies, and it entirely depends on the script as to what she will have to work with, so yeah, too early to call it. We’ll see.
I finally got around to seeing the Wolverine the other day. It was fine. But I was massively disappointed by the lack of ninja throwdown. How can you put wolverine in Japan, and not have a full ninja deathfest? The scene with the arrows was massively disappointing. Anyway yeah, going to draw, Wolvie mashing up some ninjas now.
Happy Batman Christmas!
The intent is good. Inclusiveness is good.
But… wheelchairs and snow go together like eels in the middle of the desert. They can’t maneuver at all, and they will be stuck there unless and until someone with suitable anatomy / construction shows up to rescue them.
Babs probably has at least one all-terrain chair, because she’s Babs. But the chair drawn here is meant for relatively smooth, dry, paved or floored surfaces. It can’t even handle much sand — the amount on the shoulder of a road at the end of a snowy winter is enough to strand most wheelchairs.
I didn’t even consider that at the time, thanks for the commentary, good to know for the future. Appreciate it.
